Today I went down to Barron to take some measurements at the parsonage for projects that need to be done. On the way back to Trego, I decided to take a different way home to see if there was anything worth taking photos of. I was not disappointed. I found several old barns that were perfect with the contrast of green grass and the red barns. There was a swamp with naked trees and mossy green water. The thing that really excited me was a horse with it's colt just standing there with a beautiful valley background. It doesn't get any better than that. Then in a swampy river stood a deer lapping up the water. Then he took off and I got a shot of him jumping. Not bad for a warm day in May! Praise the Lord for scenery, wildlife and even the barns. By the way, which is better the closeup of the horses or the photos with the horses and the background scenery?

Spring Flowers 18
For the past few years, about this time of year I head south to Barronett, Wi. On Old 63 there is a house that in the Spring has the most beautiful tulips, daffodils and bleeding hearts. I have yet to be disappointed in the array of flowers. They have decorated their whole yard with flowers. His kids, who are now in the late 20's or early 30's, used to come to Vacation Bible School, Kid's club and youth group, as well as attend camp years ago. What a small world and what a big God! Below are some of the flowers I took photos of today. Enjoy and God bless!
