It is that time of year again, when the flowers are blooming. Even flowers that seem to be ugly or deformed can be made into something beautiful. If you shoot the flowers at the right angle or even manipulate the photos in post production, they can turn out to be a great piece of art that shows God's creation. This week I had the opportunity to take some photos in Barron, Spooner, Hayward and also in our our back yard, that Linda planted. Here are a few of those flowers.

Barns of Pennsylvania
Yesterday I posted photos of covered bridges of Lancaster County, PA. Along with the bridges, I also took several photos of the area barns. One big difference between the barns of Wisconsin and those of Pennsylvania, is that many of the barns in Pennsylvania are at least 200 years old. Nathan Allan took me to a couple of old barns that are also quite unique. Have you every driven under part of a barn to get to your house? I have not seen that here in Wisconsin. Below are a few of the photos I took this past week.

Lancaster County Covered Bridges.
Last week Linda and I had the privilege of attending Refresh Conference in Quarryville, PA, which is in Lancaster County. All throughout the county there are several covered bridges, which are simply fascinating. We took part of a day to take photos of just a few of them. I had pictured them, in my mind, out in the country side away from the towns and cities. But most of them were located right inside the city limits and as long as you followed the map they gave you, they were easy to find. Below are a few of the bridges that we discovered. Enjoy and let me know what you think. Are you ready for a trip to Lancaster County? My favorite is the first one with the sheep in the foreground.

Sunrise Barn
As I was driving to church this morning down Hwy. 53, I noticed a barn in the distance and the sun was coming up right over the barn. Of coarse, I turned around and took a few photos. Everything lined up just right. The sun was just above the barn, it was early morning ( thanks to Daylight Savings Time) and I had a few spare moments to take a few shots. The only thing that would have made it better, is if the I had gotten there a few minutes earlier when the sun was a little lower and just above the top of the barn. Either way these photos are the results of this short and sweet photo shoot. Praise the Lord for His perfect timing and the beauty of the early morning. Enjoy and God Bless.
