Back in the Saddle!

This winter has not been very conducive for taking photos. Finally the weather is warming up and today I was able to take a few photos. My goal was to travel to Crex Meadows and see if there was anything that I could take photos of - There wasn't. It was pretty quiet and desolate. So on the way home I took that long way. I was about to call it quits when I saw the swans in the river. A little further down the road I saw a pheasant out of the corner of my eye. I quickly turned around and was able to snap off a few shots before he ran into the field. After a long winter, I almost feel like I am back in the saddle again and ready to try again.
