It must be spring!!! Because it was so warm and sunny today, it was a great day to travel a few miles to take photos. As I was driving I came across a small pond by the side of the road. (No, I am not going to tell you where it was! Sorry). In the pond was 2 swans swimming merrily along just enjoying themselves and each other. In the same pond there were several turtles sunning themselves on logs. As the swans swam along, I saw them - 2 muskrats swimming in the water right behind the swans. After the swans swam away the muskrats crawled up on a log and began to frolic with each other. They were rather cozy and enjoying each others company. This went on for several minutes. They were so involved with each other they did not even notice me by the side of he road. So I just snapped their pictures again and again. I wish they were a little closer, but I can't complain. God provided some great spring time entertainment. This is the type of thing that only comes along once in a blue moon.
