Sunny Cold Day

When taking photos a little sunshine goes a long ways. If I had taken these photos when it was cloudy and dark they would be dull and dark. This is why lighting is so important when taking photos. The rule of thumb is always shoot away from the sun and into the area the sun is lighting up. If you take photos toward the sun they usually turn out dark and over exposed. Although there are times to break this rule when looking for artistic expression, such as a sun star. Just remember you NEVER - EVER point the camera directly at the sun. You can burn out the sensor and damage your eyes at the same time. Here are some shots from today north and east of Hayward on County Road S. Enjoy and God Bless!
